Reading Work 2!
Here is my other reading work. With this two day diary we had to write what Edna Pengelly feel and what she had being boning. This was really hard because I had to found what she was doing and then write the diary like she would. I hope you enjoy and please Comment and share.
Day one
Dear Diary,
1st of January, It was my first day of my training at Wellington District Hospital. I really want to help the soldiers so I am going to work at Wellington Hospital. I wanted to work with the soldiers really badly because I couldn't fight with him. I had to work with other patients so I actually get the job to go on the boat. The only way nurses from New Zealand could help the soldiers was by going on the boat to go overseas. I applied to go on to the Active service in January 1915 and then 3 months later I sailed away on the “vast and boundless ocean”. It was a long cramped journey to Britain.
Day two
Dear Diary,
Day 2, it was the second day of my training I was very excited to do my dream job in a few more weeks or months I will be working with soldiers in no time! So many patients were coming in the hospital with broken legs, eyes missing and cuts to the bone, it was crazy. Today I got my uniform with my little hat with a red cross on it and my blue and white dress. It was the day we were going to Egypt. We had a long journey ahead of us because the fighting was going on at Gallipoli. We were sent to Egypt to the Four British run hospitals where the sick and injured men from Gallipoli were being taken. Now I get to work with soldiers. I am now very happy!

Is My story True of False?
We had to make a story about if the story is true of false. Please leave a comment which one you think is right is it true or is it false. I will post another post saying if it's true of false.
True or False..?
On Wednesday the 27th to Friday the 29th I went to Kaikoura for my Mum's work. On Wednesday we had to leave at 8 o'clock in the morning and Wednesday was a very long busy day for me. On Thursday for the whole day the students went out to the forest and two of the students stayed back at the field station because they had sore knees. On Thursday I went down to the rocks to find some starfish and awesome rocks. When I came back out of the rocks to cross the road a lady said “Look in the water there are dolphins playing”. In the deep blue sea in the distance I could see splashes. I said to myself there are dolphins playing in the water. It was amazing to look at. I thought to myself only if I could swim with dolphins that would be breathtaking. Then I turned around to cheek for cars, with no cars coming I cross the road. I was back at the field station where I was staying because the rocks were just across the road. When I got back inside I told Mum that there were dolphins playing out in the water, she came over and had a look, she was amazed! An hour had passed and the dolphins weren't playing any longer.
The students left at 7am in the morning and they didn't come back till 6pm at night. It was 5 o'clock, one more hour till they came back, so I decided to go back over to the rocks. I came back just before the students arrived. It was Friday the day we were going to leave. After Mum had packed the car and served lunch we were out of there. We stopped at a mini golf place, there were 9 holes. Then we got some gas, got some lunch and went to the Seal Colony. I saw heaps of big seals. After an hour at the Seal Colony Mum decided we should start heading back home to Christchurch.

Paige's 100WC
We are doing the 100 word Challenge Every week. Here is my story hope you like it, enjoy and comment.
The stairway to the sky!
It was the day I died. I noticed it was the time to go towards the stairway. I was 19, I was the driver. There was no passenger in the front because I had my things beside me. An old lady walked out in front of the car, my friends said “Look out”, I turned the car to the side of the road but I didn’t see the river ahead. The car went into the water. Friends: were at the back so they survived, as for me, I drowned because the water was over my head and the car was slowly going down. My friends got out.

My Timetable for Term 2, Week 2!
This term in Rimu we have made our own timetable to remind us what we need to finish or do. We also colour code so green is this time went great. Orange is not so well and red is it did not go well at all. This is a good learning tool to keep track of what you are going to do for the whole week. I really like this because I forget a lot.

My Senses Poem From Surfing
Senses poem
I could smell the fresh and salty air from the beach.
I could smell the fresh food from the cafe across the road.
I could smell the wetsuit filled with water.
I could see lots of dogs, even a pug!
I could see people, shells and rocks.
I could see a boat in the distance.
I could see the sun glistening on the water.
I could feel the sharp sea shells scratching against my feet, I could feel the sand between my toes, my feet sinking into the sand. I could feel the sharp pain in my tailbone as I fell off the board, when I thought the ground was not close, but it was.
I could feel the water dripping from the wetsuit.
I could feel the wind when I stand up on my board.
I could feel the fear as I walked through the cave, thinking it would collapse like a cake collapse as a spoon went through.
I could taste the salty water when the waves came and splashed me, I could taste the sand when I fell off the board.
I could taste salt as I breathed in.
I could hear the dogs barking, the waves crashing against my board and my body when I fell off.
I could hear the water bouncing around like a ball bouncing.
I could hear the rocks filling in the cave as I run through it.
I did my dream goal, I am proud, I am happy and if I could I would do it all over again!
