Wellington Camp 2015!

On the 23rd to the 27th Rimu class went to Wellington for one whole week ( Four nights five days).  On Monday we had to be at the train station by 6:30 really early! we wore on the train from Christchurch to  Picton. Then we went on the ferry, It was my first time on a boat and I got felt sick, so that means I am sea sick. We went to lots of really cool places like Te Papa, Lazer force,  the Theater , Museum, Capital E, rollerblading and rock climbing.Also heaps more! They were all so much fun! My favourite thing was rollerblading and laser forces. For dinner on Monday we had Pizza, Tuesday we had Mcdonalds, Wednesday we had Subway and Thursday we had 15 dollars to spend at the food corte I got a Wendy's hot dog and starbarks. My first time having starbucks it is so good! When we wore waiting to come home it was so windy our flit got canceled. We were supposed to come home at 12 something but we didn't get home till 6 something. It was a long wait! So much fun but two big bad disasters!

SO MUCH FUN BUT TWO BIG BAD DISASTERS

Friday 28th August 2015:

 Beep beep beep. Six am I struggled to get up! I rolled over trying to pretend my mum wasn't there but no! One foot, then the other, my hair was messy, my eyes wouldn't open. I knew that they were still asleep.  When I got up I slowly wandered to the lounge. It was warm and nice in there. I had a hot Milo before getting dressed. It was so nice. I had lots of warm layers on. I also had my snowsuit on too.

I got to school round seven am because the bus leaves at seven fifteen. We are going to Mt Hutt ski field, that takes about two hours for us to get there. One and a half hours later we were up in the mountain. The all of a sudden the bus driver had to stop! The clutch had broken. The people who were going to skiing had to wait half an hour. We went backwards and backwards again! Two buses with Cashmere School stopped to help. Some of our school had to go in one bus and the other half had to go on the other bus. That was one big disaster!

We finally arrived yay! When we got there we had to get our bags, go get our gear and put our bags where we were sitting.

At ten thirty we had to go to our ski lesson. We had about one hour to do our own thing, but after our hour and a half hour lesson we could do whatever we wanted to do. 

After the lesson Isabelle and I went on the quad (halfway up the mountain).  It was awesome but not the fourth time I went up.

When I went up for my fourth time I was good for the start but when I got half way down I couldn't stop! Everything was black for about a second or two. I quickly opened my eyes to find that I smashed in to a hard snow wall. My hand and my face hurt. That was the second disaster!

It was four o'clock, time to go back to school. I was so tired I fell asleep on my friend Isabelle. We made one stop because some people really wanted to go the toilet. So we had to stop.  We got back to school at seventeen past six.

When we got to school my Mum was waiting for me because I was going to my Nanna and Grandad's. I also fell asleep on the way to Nanna and Grandad's.
