Being a teenage is the hardest time of your life!

In week 7 term 3, we had speeches. This type of writing is called Persuasive Writing. I was learning to speak with expression and change tone as appropriate and make suitable eye contact with my audience. My topic was about teenagers because I was almost a teenager. =0 Here is the link to my speech. Maths Week 2 Term 3

Week 1 of term 3 in maths I started in level 3 now I have moved up to level 3 to 4 yay, but Mr M said I might be going up to group 4! Also in maths we do tables 50 were we have 50 questions and we have 3 minutes to answer them. This term I started on C than I got them all right so now I went onto D but today I got them all right I am E now!

Here is my timetable for this term! You can see my goals at the top. I want to work hard at completing my work so I can improve and get ready for high school next year. I am looking forward to reading my novel for my novel study, which is 'My Name is Mina'. Enjoy!

100WC Week 1

Under my King Single bed there was a door, it was brown with black hinges and the handle was shaped as a key. As I turned the handle the key came off, with a tag saying unlock. Wondering what could behind the mysterious door I thought to myself is this a good idea. The door opened, one step and I went down.

I looked around me there was lots of trees, my eyes glazed up trying to find the door...it wasn’t there, than  I heard a sound, I never heard before. What are those glowing things?

My Haiku Poem

This is my Haiku poem.

It is about Rimu walking up sugarloaf, I fall over and cut my knees and hands. I also hit my cheek on the rock I was trying to look out for.
