The stairway to the sky!
It was the day I died. I noticed it was the time to go towards the stairway. I was 19, I was the driver. There was no passenger in the front because I had my things beside me. An old lady walked out in front of the car, my friends said “Look out”, I turned the car to the side of the road but I didn’t see the river ahead. The car went into the water. Friends: were at the back so they survived, as for me, I drowned because the water was over my head and the car was slowly going down. My friends got out.
This is crisp and engaging writing but oh what a heartbreaking short story. This is tragic. I wish your friends could have rescued you. I look forward to your next blog post. Hopefully it will be more uplifting.

Wow this is an intense and sad story, very in-depth in such a few words and it really got me, you said so much in 100 words.. Wow Paige, very good and just wow!

DeleteIt just popped into my head as I was writing so I had to put it down.
I just read your story to Kim and she was amazed too. Said it was really good and kind of just left us sitting there "wowing" at the impact such a small amount of words could have. Well done you got us readers x
